How’s your AMBITION?!

The “W.O.W.” (word of the week) = AMBITION!

When it comes to your goals and getting what you want, how ambitious are you? How about with your health & fitness? Do you have AMBITION? Working in the fitness industry for 18 years, I have found that nearly EVERYONE has ambition, but often lack the persistence necessary to achieve their full potential. Let’s face it, you have lofty goals and great intentions to reach your ideal body weight, to be able to have your full physical capacity going into your golden years, & you know that staying active will keep your mental & physical health thriving. But the reality is that it takes hard work, and persistence to actually bring your ambition to fruition. This week, step outside of the comfort zone. Get comfortable BEING uncomfortable. Train at a higher, or just different capacity. Just say “NO” to the foods that will push you further from your goals. Get a little more SLEEP than you did last week! Let AMBITION guide you to reach a new goal this week!

 

The Warrior Nutrition Tip: Snack SMART! Pack healthy options. Make sure you stay true to appropriate portion sizes. Be sure you are truly hungry & not just eating because you are bored-or thirsty (Often we misinterpret our body’s signal to hydrate for hunger!) And be sure you are eating your food from a plate (not a bag or serving bowl) to keep you from overeating!
